Issue 7, May 2022 – “Centring the Climate”
Issue 7 of the ESG Insights initiative contains some of the most noteworthy developments in the ESG ecosystem across the international and Greek spectrum, that took place in April 2022. In this month’s issue, supranational, national and corporate developments aiming to achieve a more environmentally sustainable future are examined.
Fifteen unique topics from the international and domestic arena are covered, ranging from the publication of the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority proposal on diversity of company boards and their executive management, to the promotion of climate as a fundamental pillar of Canada’s 2022 budget. Other key developments included in the May Issue are the launch of the Frontier Advanced Market Commitment [AMC] to develop carbon removal solutions, Mytilineos’ receipt of the Gold Award for being in the top 10% of EcoVadis’ ranking of sustainable businesses practices, the inclusion of Hellenic Telecommunications Organization [OTE] in the World’s Most Ethical Companies® and the launch of the largest photovoltaic park in Greece by Hellenic Petroleum.
